Minimum Specifications

Mobile App

The Velappity Software mobile application requires Wi-Fi or 3G mobile data to function correctly (although it will continue to function during temporary periods of no network connectivity). Certain features of the mobile application require location and / or a camera to function correctly.

Velappity is not responsible for your data usage when using the app.

Operatives should update as soon as possible when an update the Velappity software is released. We cannot offer support for operatives using an outdated version of the app.

The minimum requirements for both Android and iOS devices is detailed below.

Android

Velappity supports all Android devices that are hosted on Android OS version 5 (Lollipop) and above. As Android can be hosted on different device vendors we have recommended hardware specifications:

Storage 5GB

iOS

Similar to Apple, Velappity supports the most current iOS version and two versions prior it. So in January 2020, iOS’s current version was 13 therefore, Velappity is supported on all devices that Apple supports for iOS version 11-13.

Desktop / Browser Application

To use the desktop / browser based version of the software, the computer hardware and software should meet or exceed the following:

A Windows PC, running Windows 7 or an Apple Macintosh running Mac OS 10.9 or higher. While the desktop application may work on certain tablet devices, it is not tested or optimised for these, and Velappity does not guarantee its correct functionality.

On any of the above devices, the desktop version of the Velappity software will only be supported on the latest version of Google Chrome web browser, version 62.0 or higher.

A broadband connection of 8Mb or above is required for acceptable performance. The monitor resolution should be a minimum of 1440 x 900.

Javascript and Cookies must be enabled for the Velappity software to function.
